Primary School

A strong beginning, filled with the joy of discovery.

Learning Approach

Learning Through Experience. Thinking Through Discovery.

At Genesis, learning extends beyond the classroom. Lessons are connected to projects and real-world experiences, giving students opportunities to apply their knowledge, ask questions, develop critical thinking skills, and discover answers for themselves.

Every learning experience is designed to help students deepen their understanding, retain knowledge longer, and nurture a lasting curiosity about the world around them.

Programme by Grade

Five Years of Learning, Growth, and Increasing Independence.

From Grade 1 to Grade 5, students gradually build their knowledge, language skills, and confidence, preparing them for a smooth and successful transition to Secondary School.

How our programmes are built

Two pathways to learning

Vietnamese curriculum
The programme is built on the Vietnamese national curriculum framework, providing a strong foundation in core knowledge and learning skills.
Genesis-designed
Genesis develops the programme based on the Ministry of Education and Training framework, combining English content and learning approaches suited to the abilities and learning needs of Vietnamese students.
English in learning
English is integrated into the learning experience, helping students gradually develop language confidence alongside their academic learning.

A bilingual approach that builds strong academic foundations while helping children grow in confidence as learners.

Vietnamese curriculum
The programme retains a foundation in the Vietnamese national curriculum, ensuring continuity in core academic learning.
International primary curriculum
The programme combines the Vietnamese curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), a UK-copyrighted programme used internationally. Its interdisciplinary approach connects learning across different areas of knowledge.
Learning through experience
Students explore knowledge through interdisciplinary learning, projects and real experiences, connecting what they learn with the world around them.

An international approach that connects subjects, ideas and experiences, bringing learning beyond the classroom.

Assessment & Feeback

Seeing progress. Understanding what comes next.

At Genesis, assessment is part of the learning process. Teachers use classroom learning, projects, activities and regular assessments to understand each student’s progress, identify areas for development and provide timely support.

Parents receive regular updates on their child’s learning and development, helping school and family work together throughout the Primary years.
